Anyone here working in Health and safety? TSC/CSO/CRSP?

So I've been looking into getting certified as a CSO, then working towards my CRSP shortly after... But I could not really find any information as to what the pay rate is like and job placement in the lower mainland.

Wondering if anyone in the industry could share any info they might have?

I've been involved with oil and gas construction for quite some time as a QA/QC Inspector, I would prefer to continue with that career path as I already have a large collection of certs. but the work is always in Alberta and I'm not interested in travelling anymore. My interest in safety is because it's much more general so I was thinking it woul be easier to find work locally?

Any input?

For those who aren't in the know, cso=construction safety officer.
