I bought this for a back-up camera I ended up selling the camera. This case (Lowepro Apex 30 AW) has seen a couple of strolls downtown and that's it.
It fits most compact cameras (I had my Canon SD790 IS in there with enough room for an extra memory card and the charger), and yet will fit in a big pocket or a glovebox.
It has a built-in all-weather water/dust-resistant cover for it (the grey "bag" over it in the pictures).
I also replaced the flimsy strap it came with with a wider, more comfortable one.
I paid $35 with taxes for it.
