help : HTPC setup...

I have a feeling my old one is going so i need a new one for replacement. Can anyone recommand me anything ? or the custom build one ?

I would like to have a slim box design or mini box type of outer case.

do you play games or video encoding with your HTPC?

like I only watch RMVB and mah jong games on my HTPC...even a P4 or Atom PC can do the job.

maybe some video games like diablo II in the future ? i m not crazy about PC games since i got ps3.... no video encoding or deconding.

Have you ever considered looking at the WDTV? It plays most of any files you can throw at it, including most HD ones. It costs only ~$120 and its simply plug and play.

ya.. its a good stand alone media player but u cannot download files or streaming video off the internet with it.
