Palm face fail pertaining to my sucking ways with girls
 

I just messed up like a total idiot. I've been friends with this girl for awhile but I rarely hang out with her. Today I was supposed to do a favor for her and help her fix her computer. Usually I don't get nervous but for some reason when I got to her house my heart was just going nuts. Felt pretty embarrassing being nervous when I have no business being so.

Its important to know that she was free all day so I was expecting to hang out with her after I helped her. I fix her shit and all the while being a total nervous wreck. It would have been really painful to watch if you were there, trust me. Then in a lame attempt to further ruin my dignity, I asked her like a pussy if she wanted to do something... I totally sounded like a freaking chump.

Obviously I got hosed and usually I'm confident but I really like this girl.
Nerves got the better of me. She said she was tired and didn't feel like going out. She even made it clear before I arrived that she was free all day.

I really need to be smoother because at this rate I ain't never gonna get any for a loooooooooong ass time. Thing is whenever I get rejected it just makes me wanna try harder. I guess thats the only positive thing coming from this whole travesty.

No real way to fix this other than have two diff mindsets

1) go in there, KNOWING you may not get a chance to "chill" wit her.
2) go in there, and work your game... it's not hard to sway someone's mind, read them, and play into it.

Honestly, with some women, it seems like you have to be an asshole to get anywhere with them. But hey, if you have to be someone you arent to get with her, then maybe shes not the one.

The question is.

Do you want to hook up with her and become FWB's or do you want a relationship? If you just want to hook up, next time you talk to her, joke around about her oweing you a favour for fixing her computer. Not like you have much to loose, atleast that way she knows want more then friendship from her.

I'm so smooth and chill with so many girls and some are even hotter then the one I like but when I talk with this girl, I tend to second guess myself, think a lot more then I should about what I should say and what not, eventually freezing up sometimes. FML.

I notice that 90% of the people I know that always say "nice guys finish last" that I know, aren't nice guys.
Being a doormat and not actively doing anything to pursue the girl doesn't mean "nice" it's just pansy, then those guys claim they're being "nice".
What a convenient excuse to blame one's fail on being "nice" to the girl.
The guys that get the girls are the ones that actually do something about it. Waiting doesn't get anyone anywhere.

Liquid courage might help out your situation. If you're damn near jizzing your pants while trying to talk to her, she obviously knows you're not much a challenge for her. She's already broken you. btw, you didn't actually just fix her computer the whole time did you? Throw some BS in there about letting some program download or software to finish working so you can get a chance to just sit with her, chat/work your charm while "insert bs excuse" finishes.

Anyways, you're lack of editing changes the meaning from what I was stating but... "actively doing anything to pursue the girl" means doing ANYTHING to get the girl
ie. not sitting around and whining about it.

First step, make sure she knows you like her, if she doesn't know then you can't blame her for not reciprocating something she's unaware of.
I don't know why but a lot of guys don't get this, they just blindly be "nice" to the girl, but if she doesn't see that "nice" as being different than friendship nice it means nothing. Watch WongFu's "Just a Nice Guy"

Secondly, don't just tell the girl you like her and expect that she will like you there and then or just sit around waiting for her to magically fall in love with you or something.
Win her heart. You should know what you could do in this situation if you know the girl well enough, it's different for everyone. =3

And if she doesn't like you, then she doesn't like you. Don't get all creepy and stalkerish. -_-;;

Yeah I did fix her computer the whole time which makes this even more sad in retrospect. Should have found ways to involve her in the helping process.

^It's never good when u think too much. Try to enjoy urself on every occasion. It kinda build this aura around u so other ppl can loosen up as well.
