Game must blow.

Wheel + Game combo is only $70 on the site itself, so you're basically saving $15 on the blu-ray remote.

On the fence with this one, no shifter, or brake/gas pedal, it's the lowest wheel model they have, the other ones all have a wrapped steering wheel lol....GT5 around the corner.. ahh choices.
Paradise is a good game...there's a slim chance you can get it for $5 for PS3 version and cant really compare retail with CL

okay it's a decent deal..not the best
your technically just saving on a remote which is $25

How odd is it that BestBuy and Futureshop are not advertising the PS3 Slim in their National Weekly Flyers (they did online though) and are only displaying the PS3 160GB with games/accessories package so that the listing price is $499.99

and yet they show the Xbox Elite with games/accessories for $329.99

they don't even mention the new pricepoint of the ps3s

Microsoft must have paid em $$$

It seems to me that unless you heard about it online, or are lucky enough to stumble across one in the store, you wouldn't even notice the Slim is out.

just an FYI

u guys might know already but im just learning about it

the PS3 Slim has a link system where u can connect it with your capable tv so that you can control it with ur televisions remote such as Bravia tv's with "Bravia Link" and even Sharp tvs with their linking system

there's videos online already of how a guy with a sharp lcd can control his ps3 through his television, even powering on and off (when u power on the tv the ps3 turns on too)

so thats a + for ppl who want to use their logitech remotes i guess

^depends on the TV. I'm pretty sure my Toshiba Regza HDTV doesnt support it.

But if you wanna use your Logitch Harmony (like I do), buy this: http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...02&catid=27031

Plug the USB dongle into the PS3, and program all the needed buttons from the Nyko remote onto your Harmony.

Even EB features the fat PS3 on the front page of their site without mention of the slim.

Is there a program you can download to allow the slim to run backwards compatability and allow it to play PS2 games?

Oh thanks, cause that's what I was thinking too. But I was over at my friends house today and he was playing some PS2 games on his original version PS3 but I thought none of the PS3's were created with backwards compatibility. And then he went on about downloading some program or something that allowed him to do that. Thanks for clearing that up though!

That's this..it's only used for 60/20GB old 80GB that uses PS2 games that needs installation.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...4090458AA2GHMN

it has nothing to do with backwards compatibility.
