see if its a common problem for a malibu. go ask at the dealership, or go on forums. if it is then its useless trying to get it out, itll just get eaten again

my is300 has a problem with eating discs. thats why most people on the is forums suggest getting a new deck.

Kepp in mind MOST dealers except for BMW that I know of, although your warranty may be 3 year bumper to bumper. Lightbulbs and Stereo are usually only 1 year warranty.
