Sounds like that may be the case...I don't have much experience with current WinMob phones. Anyone else want to chime in?

Go to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Proxy Manager

Change that to the opposite of what's there.

the only place i know where proxy manger is is start> programs > tools> proxy manger, and has 2 icons, one says disable proxy the other says restore... and i have tryed both before.
no help?

there is no proxy manger in conections.

EDIT!: OK, THAT WAS THE KEY dissableing the proxy and using these exact settings at the same time : http://www.howardforums.com/archive/...1279241-1.html

BIG THANKS, its hard to figure out which settings are used when and that did it.

if you want to update your ROM. (I use the HTC touch pro GSM)
I use http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=440
You might void warranty by installing these ROMs, but I'm not sure.
