FS: 3x 215/50R17 Hankook HRII H405

FS: 3x 215/50R17 Hankook HRII H405 Ultra High Performance All-Season
Fits: 17 x 6-6.5"
Tread: ~60-70%
Mileage: ~20k kms

This is a great tire and will be sorely missed. It's very predictable in all driving conditions and you can hardly feel any hydroplaning at all. It's road noise and comfort (especially on the highway) is much quieter than the Hankook V12 evo's we replaced these with after one developed a sidewall nail problem. Since we wanted to go the summer/winter tire route, we thought we'd try some summer tires instead of trying to find a new H405.

You won't be dissappointed. This tire is a lot of fun, especially if tire pressures and alignment are correct. Once set in a corner, it makes turning feel effortless and just turns. Although I'll admit that winter driving conditions isn't really one of its strengths.

$150 obo set (of 3), $70 obo each.

Tread depth is 7-8/32" all around. There is no noticeable camber wear. They have only been driven in the summers and the wheels and tires were taken off the road from the beginning of October to the end of March each year and stored in an attached garage.

They are listed for ~$139 at Tire Trends bringing 4 tires + taxes to: ~$623 (before levies).

You can see some of the reviews here:As usual, PM offers. Most offers will be considered. Thanks.

These are great tires. Someone should make an offer.

If you're willing to run with 1 newer tire, you can pick up a new one from TireTrends.ca for ~$139 to make a 4 better than half-life set of tires for easily under $350. (Or if you want the hassle of shipping 1 tire up from the US and brokering customers yourself, it might be even cheaper.)

They came off a Mazda 3, so yes, it fits the 17" rim. It's a bit taller but no noticeable difference in torque and braking compared to the new 205/50R17 Hankooks we have now.
