| Fido Internet not working on Samsung Pixon
Hey guys,
Can't get my internet to work on my pixon. Got a data plan couple days ago and it hasnt worked. Also called fido to make sure my net was actually activated and it was.
any solutions?

Did you even set up the internet settings on the phone? If so, provide details. Your post is far too vague.

I basically did this on the sticky thread.
Fido Internet Settings
Fido WAP
APN: internet.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
Proxy IP: 205.151.11.11 Port 8080
Fido MMS
APN: mms.fido.ca
Username: Fido
Password: Fido
Gateway Address: 205.151.11.13
MMS URL: mms.fido.ca
everything else is on default settings

hmm been playing around and googling for solutions for over an hr, still cant figure it out.
i just tried this, its the code to get google maps to work, and my net still doesn't work
=(

I don't know the interface of your phone but if you go into settings and then application settings, browser settings, did you ensure it's using the correct APN ID? Samsung is a little tricky that way.

changed the browser setting to MMS instead of WAP. APN is correct internet.fido.ca . at least this time google loaded and i did a search and it worked. but all the other sites dont work, and also my widgets.

ditch the username and password and the proxy info. I only have internet.fido.ca entered.
