Ipod non-responsive

Hey guru's i need your help once again. So my 3rd gen ipod nano is currently unresponsive for any unknown reasons. It works when i scroll up and down for the songs but it doesnt respond when i click the buttons. Not sure what i can do to fix this. And no don't tell me to buy a new one please.
Any help would be great.

It's not locked up, it doesn't respond when i click buttons but it stills goes up and down when i scroll. It's pretty weird. I've tried holding down the center button it's still screwed up.

so i just tried the menu+center hold button and the reboot of the ipod now works, i don't know why it always goes wonkie. It freezes once in a while or does some other crazy shit.
Does it happen you guys a lot?

Apple quality has been going down the shitter for awhile. It's because they know that the sheeple will eat it up, as long as it has that apple logo on it. Short of trying Skinnypupp's link, there isn't anything else to do, but buy another one.
