Camaro convertable spied.

From Autoblog.
Camaro5 forum member isszy caught shots of eight freshly minted Camaro convertibles in Australia. Spotted outside the Holden factory in Fisherman's bend, Melbourne, the poster said they all appeared to be left-hand-drive.

The tan-and-silver color combination isn't one we would have thought of – the black-roofed guy at the end is much more like it – but the roofline itself looks very good. The last we were informed by GM, the car should arrive next year as a 2011 model.

That looks pretty good as a convertible. I really like these new camaros.

Not the kind of colour choice i would take for a soft top though..

yeah, the black roof looks great.

Too bad, it would be awesome if it comes in hardtop convertible.

^no way, rag top FTW!!! has more character, although it's significantly worse,

Now a hardtop convertible Camaro is a car i wouldn't mind. Unlike a hardtop Lexus IS...........ewwwww

nice, but i don't know how they could pull it off... the trunk in the camaro is barely enough for luggage, let alone a roof :(

KingCrimson 09-02-2009 10:44 AM

The tan-and-silver color is ugly!

1exotic 09-02-2009 11:01 AM

The transformers 3 car

hk20000 09-02-2009 11:09 AM

the rag roof is awesomely shaped so when it's up it looks like those muscle cars with vinyl tops from the 70s!!!!

Good Job GM!

I think ragtops just look better, most italian convertibles are ragtops and they know a thing or two about sexy convertbles
But a retractable hard top makes more sense in terms of luxury and safety?, and you don't have to worry about people cutting through ur roof wif a pocket knife

Timpo 09-04-2009 03:00 PM

why tan soft top?

Just IMO anyways, I'd pick the ragtop,
Retractable hard tops don't look as good as their coupe counterparts ie. infiniti G, Lexus IS This is all IMO you don't have to agree/disagree, I've always loved ragtops and with the recent shift of retractable hard tops in a lot of convertibles I might even miss the soft tops

That and This TG clip wouldn't be as entertaining with a hardtop

Hondaracer 09-04-2009 04:18 PM

would have prefered t-tops
