Brake Reservoir Cap Parts Break down help

So i am building a brake pressure bleeder out of a garden spray bottle. I just bought a used brake cap and took it apart.

The car that i am trying to bleed is a 2005 Honda civic. The following image below is the break down of the cap (bought one from a junker)

What is the rubber part on the right for? Also what is the purpose of the white part?

Also in the reservoir there is a screen assy. is it removable?

Thanks

The rubber part is the seal. The white part is just part of the cap, and the screen in the resovoir is removeable.

Anything is removable if you want it to be.
