I AM a celebrity.

Seriously this thread isn't asking for opinions, it's asking about who the fuck you met.

Met and actually know is different. People who do know and regularly hang out with celebrities will not, or at least should not, say so in public. For their celebrity friend's sake. The very few that I know would not trust me anymore if I did that. I know one fellow who worked for a famous actress who stars in a certain show about a plane crashing in the middle of nowhere. He took some pictures of her and her family for another project and kept copies. He sold them to the paparazzi later for a hefty some of cash. Dirty little bastard. Lots of great talent in the Vancouver area.

Yesterday at the gym I worked out beside Don Taylor. I've seen a lot of people in the hockey world around town. Joel Quenneville, Trent Klatt, Brent Sopel, and Ed Jovanovski just to name a few.

Tony Danza, my mom used to clean/manage his apartment. Very nice guy.

James Tolkan (Top Gun/Back2theFuture), also lived in our building for a while.

Ernie Hudson (winston, from ghostbusters), ran into him in an elevator, I looked up, recognised him, and instantly blurted out: "holy shit, it's winston zeddemore!!!" and we laughed, and talked for a while.

Prince. He's short, even when wearing high heels. And when he said hi to me it felt like he was hitting on me.. not sure, I was a little creeped out. But my friends from the bar wound up talking to him till 4am talking about theology and all kinds of pseudo science bullshit. Very weird guy, but seemed super nice anyways.

Snoop Dog. Came out of his tour bus and was high as fuck, along with everyone else. He was nice to me but I doubt he remembers anything from that night as he seemed pretty trashed. According to his (white) bus driver, he hates white people with a passion and won't hire anyone for anything, unless they are bangin' white hoes, and the only reason he was driving their bus, is because no other bus driver anywhere of any colour will put up with his bullshit.

Sean Paul was pretty much the same story, although I didn't really talk to him at all.

Britney Spears, about 9 years ago.. nice girl but not the brightest light on the christmas tree back then.

Tom Cochrane - was in an elevator as I was getting in - Said hi, asked him how he's doing - he said fine, how are you? - I said: "You know, life is a highway..." everyone laughed. Another nice, down to earth guy.

Tommy Lee - helped him get his laptop connect to wireless. Seemed like a really cool guy. Nikki was wandering in and out of the room but I didn't talk to him.

Alice Cooper - back in 2003ish - was impressed that I knew about his love for golf and so we talked about that for a while.

Green Day - Tres Cool was showing me some random erotic shit he picked up from some adult store.. fucking hilarious.

INXS w/ JD - immediately after him getting picked, he was SUCH a newbie. Total nice guy, standing around like any other kid his age, talking to EVERYONE. Saw him again 1 year later and he had become the reclusive 'leave me the fuck alone' rockstar that everyone turns into when they become famous.

Juan Pablo Montoya - nearly clipped me speeding down pit lane in a golf cart. By the time I turned around to yell 'fuck you' he was already out of sight. haha.

I've walked past or bumped into a lot of other 'celebs' - bif naked, danika patrick, ryan reynolds, kristin kreuk, etc etc but just said hi like I would to any other stranger...

I have a really good eye for picking out people far away. I'm always running into people I know or recognise and I make a point to always say hi. I dunno why, I just do.
