Yes, but look at how each guy knew to take exactly 1 row of computers as to not waste time. There was definitely some planning involved ie it's not a "true" smash and grab, and I wouldn't be surprised if they even rehearsed everything beforehand.

planning as far as going into the store, going "hey, apple is stupid as shit", then coming back later. yet another example of apple choosing aesthetics over usefulness, and failing.
