Luxuay Super Car Weekend

Is everyone ready for the show? I heard this show will be crazier then any show we've had here in vancouver. No more of your Hondas and bring on the lambos and bugattis.

I'm not attending but I'm heading down there sometime Friday/Saturday to see the cars hopefully on the street.

shenmecar 09-08-2009 01:23 PM

KaOsTiK 09-08-2009 02:08 PM

It's free? Wonder if there's going to be anything I didn't see last month down in Laguna Seca

what time are the cars rolling in?? :D

Lomac 09-08-2009 03:45 PM

Screw the "luxury car weekend..." I'm going to the Langley Cruise-In instead. :D

Seeing a mint 1937 Bugatti Type 57s in the flesh trumps looking at any modern super car.

Dinan3 09-08-2009 03:50 PM

Nice. Do we have to buy tix online or can we just get it on sight?

Ruzty 09-09-2009 02:01 AM

Harvey Specter 09-09-2009 04:24 AM

It's suppose to be nice this weekend so the show should be pretty packed.

Or seeing a nice 1970 Chevelle SS at the Langley cruise in where the owner is more than willing to let you sit in the drivers seat and rev the motor, where as, the pompous jackass that owns a Lambo will tell you to get the hell away from the car. Sorry, more biased towards american muscle. Then again seeing a 1991 SL 73 AMG, a pure german muscle car, is a crazy sight.

trollguy 09-09-2009 07:33 AM

so above all the logos, it says automobiles invited for display.

doesnt seem to reassuring. are people really paying $20 to see a roped off cars?

R8 09-09-2009 07:51 AM

I don't know about you... but I don't feel like paying 20$ just to see some super cars where probably 50% will be rolling on Robson every sunny weekend... and it says you need to be 19+?

for any supercar enthusiast seeing a veyron or any of the other fine cars even if they are roped off is very much worth going for only 20 bucks....

!LittleDragon 09-09-2009 11:40 AM

I don't think any of the cars were roped off at the Concourse Italiano... Veyron, Reventon, Enzo, 250 GTO... you can get real close and personal

Thats totally correct. How many Enzos, phantom or Veyron have you seen in person?

hotong 09-09-2009 12:17 PM

where is it being held at?

604spydaone 09-09-2009 12:49 PM

finally.... a car show that doesnt care about all the cheap haters that reside in our city thats held down our car scene for so long... props to the promoters!

Held at the Plaza of nations. In front of Edgewater Casino.

skyxx 09-09-2009 02:11 PM

My friend will be going to the Frankfurt Motor show while I'll be going to this show.

!LittleDragon 09-09-2009 03:20 PM

I wouldn't buy tickets until they have a confirmed list of cars. "Invited for display" doesn't sound promising.... and if anyone's been to luxurysupercar.com will take note that the Pagani logo has been removed. Save your cash and go to next year's Concourse Italiano or visit Lamborghini of Las Vegas dealer if you want to see a Veyron... no admission on that one.
