Theyre the best sub DD makes other than the Z motor woofers which retail for $8000+ each.
These DDs are reconeable too so if you ever blow one up or want the coils changed to a different configuration its as simple as a called to SoundsGood (local DD dealer) for them to order the parts and Ill be able to recone it. You can also recone these woofers to a different size for another $20-30 for a new basket too. So change these 12s in to 10s, 15s or 18s if you want. Reconeability is a definite HUGE advantage that smaller companies like DD have over all the mainstream crap subs out there. Plus the fact that theyre nearly impossible to blow. The coils on these subs are in perrrrrfect condition..so are the cones, surrounds and dustcaps...I baby my gear believe it or not. The 2 I have also have polished motors which is rare among these subs for what its worth.
Heres a kicker solo X 10 next to the DD $$$$

And one of the setups in my explorer with 4 woofers. This box did a best of 154.4 at a show and 156.2 at home on the termlab for the loudest street vehicle in canadian history at the time.
And another one of the boxes for all four. This box did a best of 154.9 db at a show and 155.4 in testing.
