Thing about long term solutions- You getting her to pay for your rims doesn't solve anything. Buying her a car to drive that's safe enough does. Or alternatively- do your best to teach her how to drive. Ahaha |
Time to upgrade to some Brabus wheels. AMG wheels can now be your winter steelies =p J/k .. look on the bright side, at least she didn't crash the car. I guess you should go with option C since buying a new one means you have to throw away the damaged one or keep it as junk in the garage. |
suck it up ~ it's your mom i guess don't lend her your car next time ... sounds like a good idea so i guess i pick A) and F) |
How about stop crying and get yourself another set? She is your mom... What are you going to do if she refuses to pay for your rim?? Shoot her in the head!?!? Or take her to court!? Or take a dump on her food!? besides, I don't think it's worth the money getting AMG wheels. Yes it's aftermarket on your car but it's OEM on the AMGs. So why not just get something that's actually aftermarket? |

Son, just like the mother, has not learned! I say give her cab fare for one day, and fix up your car slowly. Also, talk to your mom about it, she will understand, cuz mom's usually understand shit. Final Choice: A) Forgive her - its not worth hating or holding a grudge G) Fix your own car H) Learn the lesson - never let anyone drive the car - cuz no one , NO ONE loves it as much as you do! |
i like optoin F by the way :) |
Sue her |
drive your car, instead of staring at the rim or car all day. |
Get your MOTHER to pay for the repaint at NuBrite. If colour do not match then get your MOTHER to pay for new rim at stealership. While she is reaching for her purse ask your MOTHER to fork out extra $ for bumper damages she caused in the past. If she refuses any of the previous stated.... SUE YOUR MOTHER! |
A.) Make your mom sad and disappointed by asking her to pay up. Get new rims and maybe even new bumpers in return. B.) Suck it up and know that you appreciate your mom regardless of some damage to some material goods. |
I'd pick option A... but then ask if they're willing to let one month go rent-free, so that the money you would have paid for room and board can instead go to the car. This way you both are technically paying for the repairs. |
forgive her, and let her know what happened, then buy her a car. |
If my son fucked my car up, he'd be paying to fix it - life lesson. If you were my kid and not a complete asshole (take care of your shit, don't disrespect me, don't get into trouble and work hard), I would insist that my wife and I pay to fix it. Then I'd go get my wife a beater. If you want to chip in, great. |
do you even need a poll? suck it up, think of all the sacrifices shes made for you |
Forgive her, give her your car as her beater, then you go buy a Civic Si instead. or you can make her pay for the damage and you pay her back all her time and effort to wipe your shit since the day you were born, and the blood she gave to you, might as well |
this would not happen to me as i don't let my mom or dad drive my car. yes i'm an ass of a son. i know their driving habits though and i don't trust them. it's avoiding trouble and hassles. but if this did happen to me, i'd make my mom pay for nubrite and call it a day. |
its your mom, you clot. even an HRE rim isnt worth as much as she or her time spent on you is. |
A |
|
forgive and move on. if she feels bad about it, give her a hug and say "I'm just glad you're ok" :) |
Would your mom make you pay for the shit you broke in the house when you were little? |
family first |
give her the car to drive for a few days. make her curb the other 3 rims and then it will even out the look. problem solved |
Wow, just wow. |
I would just suck it up and pay however much it costs to buy a new one or fix it. Pretty sure everyone here has damaged something their parents owned when they were younger, I know I have. There's nothing else you can really do except suck it up and buy her a car if you don't want her scratching up yours. |
