Parking around Richmond center

Where is the best place? I'm lookin to take the Canada line from Richmond to langara and it's almost more convient to drive there because the Bridgeport park and ride is 2 dollars while parkin here is 2.50 so Id rather drive the extra 2 minutes

cobra_commander 09-10-2009 09:26 AM

park at landsdowne its free

.Renn.Sport 09-10-2009 10:30 AM

you are one cheap fuck

Meowjin 09-10-2009 11:19 AM

It has nothing to do with money you fuck, it's because I have a u pass and is way less hassle if I take the skytrain and faster too

Drift_Monkey 09-10-2009 11:32 AM

Watch out for the thieves coming off the canada line...

^ lol
he's talking about driving to a close by skytrain station and then skytraining is less of a hassle and faster than to just drive the whole way.

You mean you park at either Rush or Aberdeen? Because it wouldnt make sense to park at Rush, then walk back to Lansdowne station and skytrain back to Aberdeen.

SolidPenguin 09-10-2009 03:46 PM

Parking at Richmond Center is sketch. They are now towing cars without warning, and hired extra security to chalk tires. Even staff working at the mall now have to register their cars to security and are not supposed to park in customer parking.

Gh0stRider 09-10-2009 04:42 PM

rs members cheap??? NO WAYYYY!!

rsx 09-10-2009 04:51 PM

$2 park and ride at bridgeport

You can't park at RC or Lansdowne.

ziggyx 09-10-2009 05:28 PM

^ Technically you can park there. Just don't get caught..

If you do, you get towed lol.

Tons of kwantlen students part at lansdown MOST don't get caught. But with the new skytrain there now I don't know. They might be watching out for more ppl who just use their parking lots.

Cman333 09-10-2009 05:47 PM

Expect to get towed. Hate it when people used to park on my lot and walk off to go somewhere else.

I can say I've had the honor of getting many cars towed for that reason. I've had ppl walk in a politely ask me to park for 30 mins, which I had no issues with.

But yeah, for $2 why not just PAY it and not worry about paying $150 for the tow/impound. Odds are if you have to do it daily, you will get caught.

Meowjin 09-10-2009 06:30 PM

Because I can just drive to school then.

Bridgeport and langara Is like 5 minutes apart.

Why not bus to RC, then transfer to C-line?

The malls are watching and monitoring their parking lots for ppl that do that and said they will tow the cars away.

dachinesedude 09-10-2009 07:54 PM

I dunno bout RC, but lansdowne's got tow trucks parked in their parking lot all the time, spying on your asses, mostly around kwantlen side though, but I wouldnt be surprised if they sitting near the c-line station now

park, walk in the mall and stroll for 5 mins, then walk back out through another exit and hop on the skytrain?
