There needs to be a rant section. RANT!!!

Ok, so after a year, I FINALLY get my license back not even a week ago. Probably 3 days ago?

This afternoon, I went to Parker for some cheap food for lunch.

10 mins after, I come out to my car and guess what?!?!?!?!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
I already tried wax and claybar, no use. Still scratches on it.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

hit and run?

sexyaccord 09-10-2009 09:16 PM

dude its richmond. park far away, the spots at the end, or along the streets.

Rikaro 09-10-2009 09:19 PM

time for sandpaper. Serious.

ilvtofu 09-10-2009 09:22 PM

Fuck this ridiculous!, I mean door dings I can accept in richmond, but seems like driver couldn't feel it at all and just followed through, FUCK! Have you tried Quixx scratch remover? I just bought the kit at canadian tire on monday, my friend scratched his car against a wall XD!, it got most of it out, but some needed touch up paint,
Comes with sandpaper as well  not too bad for a $20 box, doesn't last long though

danizer 09-10-2009 09:27 PM

hahaha we should try smth new...everytime u park really close to two cars at stall...mark down license...then if u get scratched...photoevidence ftw :)

!SG 09-10-2009 09:40 PM

can u feel the scratch? if u cant, u should be able to use rubbing compound to buff it out.

not really, photo evidence that person parked next to you, no evidence that it was that person who caused the scratch

TOPEC 09-10-2009 10:42 PM

parker place has cameras all over the parking lots
file a police report then the cops or u should have access to the tapes.

unit 09-10-2009 11:41 PM

never park there.... the parking lot is so tight and full of hongers which is a DEADLY combination. i dont even park beside other cars at lansdowne i park as fuckin far away as possible. i know this because a few years ago i parked at lansdowne and i came out and i had a scratch worse than yours. now im so conscience about where/how i park my car everywhere i go. ive probably avoided a lot of door dings/scratches by doing so

So I shall go to the Police Department?

I was thinking of just ICBC, but then the $300. I don't think it's worth $300.

Friend parked at Brentwood, and someone scraped his back bumper, then ran

El Bastardo 09-11-2009 12:30 AM

I was driving through the parking lot of T&T at the corner of 152nd 98th or where-ever the fuck here in Surrey and some black SUV just darted out of their parking stall into the middle of the driving lane and was also in mid turn while they did it. Somehow they managed to pry back the bumper of the sedan they were parked beside with their front panel/bumper. I always wondered how things like that happened but that was the first time I've ever gotten to see it.

I'm assuming they started shouting at each other? LOL

TOPEC 09-11-2009 12:54 AM

when ever u report a hit and run to icbc, they will require u to file a police report and will need the report number. so i suggest u file a police report first, and mention that parker place has camera all over the place, and then make a hit and run claim with icbc ALSO mentioning there are camera watching over the lot at parker place. IF the cops do their jobs, they SHOULD be able to see who hit ur car and track them down with icbc, IF they dont do their job, then i dono lol good luck to u i guess.

won't work. the only "safe" spot i've ever found at parker was on the roof on the south/deserted side.

maybe it's a coincidence but i was witness to a c-lai in an AMG ML driving over the center median that divides the entry/exit coming off the roof parking lot. i don't think she even realized it was there or just thought it was a speed bump

shenmecar 09-11-2009 10:30 AM

Im beginning to think everyone should have two cars. One car for driving to Richmond (beater of course) and one car for driving everywhere else. If you live in Richmond then, too bad.
