Gotta admit, Calgary fans are pretty hard core. Then again, look at their city. I'd be dying to find something to do, too. When ya ain't got much to be proud of, you desperately find whatever and run with it. Good for them anyway. Even if they are the number one rivals of the Canucks, they're still a good ol' Canadian team. Now Montreal, that's a different story. Quebec is not Canadian. LOL.
That's one thing I've always liked about Calgary that Vancouver could only dream off. Calgary's sea of red is a 100x more nicer than Vancouver's sea of:

Royal Blue
Navy Blue w/ Red
Black 90's jersey or White away.
Green Canuck Shirts.
Those feminine girlie cut pink jerseys
Same feminine girlie cut baby blue jerseys.

Thats becuase our tradition is not a sea of colors but waiving the towel!!! I'm pretty sure when you go to a playoff in calgary or edmonton they give you the shirts but here in van we get towels... Plus towles are more fun to throw around and you can clean yourself after spilling you beer on the first goal..

It's so cool that the whole towel waving thing had its beginning here in Vancouver. I saw that hockey game and it was pure awesomeness. Good ol' Roger Nielson and Butts Giraud in the 1982 playoffs.
