Anyone notice how cars love fo fucking BOUNCE through turns? I'm doing the Porsche Carrera GT invitational on Spa, and as soon as you hit the first turn (Eau Rouge), the car as bouncing as soon as any wheel angle is applied.

Physics are still off, but it's better than ProStreet.

I think NFS Shift is definitely a step in the right direction for the NFS Series... but it's definitely nowhere near perfect... I have yet to try Dirt 2 but it looks better simply based off of what i've seen.

I guess they didnt listen to me when i told them the physics for drifting is way off when i took part in one of their game test sessions.

I did more than one NFS Shift session and I can tell you as you probably saw in your session A LOT of people who tried out the drifting portion did not like the physics at all... However the developers have no problems dominating in drifting :haha:

Well I mean all recent NFS has drifting introduced and all of then never needed any skill at all to drift. Neither does this one...

Ever since I played GRID I find it a bit hard to NOT use cockpit view unless I can't (forza 2, GT4, etc.). But I started in the AE86, and had a bit of a struggle catching up, but still managed to take and expand any leads I got.

Couple days wont make a difference unless you buy off craigslist...

I found they key to basically effortless drifting with almost any car: Unless anyone already knows how to tune, set the diff on acceleration to 75. The S14 I have will hold an angle if I keep the car on the road.

BTW, Anyone try out the S2000 yet? You can actually HEAR the VTEC KICK IN YO!

I didn't hear the Vtec. lol
