Anyone try the demo yet? What is the "tone" of this game? More sim feel? Still arcade?

I just got the game for PS3. I hate how I have to use either the triggers or right stick for accelerate and braking. I want it back to the good old X and square. =(

Thats how all new racing games are.. You need x and square for NOS!!!

Anyways Dirt 2> NFSS..... NFSS still has problems with physics... But nice graphics and cool cars... Dirt 2... well its Dirt 2... Ive had both since saturday and well i'm 50% done dirt and barely started NFS since I also have NHL2010.. I love Modded xbox.. Always get the games before release and never have to wait in the line ups...

G35 should work with this game, PS3 only....

I just bought this game but haven't tried it... I also have that Logitec racing wheel + paddle controller... but so far the reviews look really good!

Having had a Dreamcast, Xbox and Xbox360, I can't STAND the Playstation 2/3's use of face buttons for acceleration/deceleration. Even with analog pressure buttons, the long-travel trigger buttons that the Dreamcast/Xbox controllers had were so much better for racing games.

I'm probably gonna rent the game, since I'm torn between that and getting Forza Motorsport 3 when it comes out.

^ It's actually a pretty decent game and a big step up from the previous games. This is a step in the right direction for the NFS genre. I did a few game test with this. Pretty decent.

Rented it, decided to shell the little bit more for the 7-day rental at Rogers. I'll check it out tonight.

Thanks for the quick verdict skyxx.

Wait until you guys start the drifting and realize how off the physics are... NFS really needs to work on the sim physics more than gameplay... I hate how the car auto corrects itself so my drift lasts longer... GHEY..

I guess they didnt listen to me when i told them the physics for drifting is way off when i took part in one of their game test sessions.

Is drifting better/more realistic in GRID or NFS?

GRID feels more weighted than NFS. I'm still not used to the drifting physics, but they are actually pretty off, handling feels "chunky" especially when sideways.

BTW, Anyone try out the S2000 yet? You can actually HEAR the VTEC KICK IN YO!
