WTF is going on in Richmond on No. 3 Road? 1 1/2 lanes?
 

I was in Richmond the other day, decided to go to richmond centre....
what a mistake

I was on No. 3 and i noticed that it was ONE lane traffic only? there were pylons on the left (fast) lane. Then I noticed that the left lane was really really small.

WTF happend there? it's not like there wasn't enough space? They put frigging islands there... i assume someone effed up on the dimensions on the island and the size of the road.. because the whole left lane is soo small that anything bigger than a SUV wouldn't fit.. ie. any Big truck. f150 1 tonne truck h2. etc?

WTF is going on with Richmond.. their mayor should be fired. and this whole toll knight street bridge? What The EFFF

Always avoid no3, fixed or not fixed, it's been bad since b-line middle lane

so stupid they are building that island thing in the middle, i guess is for all the piping and wires for the skytrain... Richmond is stupid, i rmb b4 they spend so much for the stupid 98B line private road, then they tore it all down within less than 5 years!

Accidents waiting to be happen on no.3 , they block off the fast line without any hanging signs, so is constantly gridlocked on that whole road

i was actually telling my gf about that lane the other day... it must of been mistakes in calculation

wtf, shit goes from 2 lanes to 1 1/2 lanes. At least they paved part of No3.

fact: richmond bumps up the vehicle accident statistics for the rest of canada

They must have a monkey running the urban planning office in richmond city hall.

asian drivers in richmond is not dangerous... since they all suck they kind of all suck together... its when other drivers coming in from surrey, vancouver, burnaby that disrupts the pattern... that's dangerous

hence why we must seal off richmond from the rest of canada and give them all AIDS

there was a roadblock there last week too, single lane + road block = ftl

MUCH MUCH smoother now

before was off road vehicle only

not only there, but around ALL SURROUNDING ROADS as well. and the flagpeople had NO idea wtf they were doing. took me 20 mins to go 2 blocks -- with the 'aide' of a flag person. awesome.

seriously, as soon as you get to richmond, it's like there's a dome-of-stupidity covering it.

made me LOL.

just heads up tho... there's construction on no.3, Westminster and landsdowne rd almost on a daily basis

oh yah forgot about westminister... that road is fucked.

It follows him around wherever he goes.

no3 road sucks...if u absolutely must get to Richmond Center, go garden city and take cook road instead.

this will save you from a lot of white hairs

Theyre widening where the sidewalks used to be, and repainting the lines. They already finished some parts near the no3/garden city area. Its not that bad, but it is a huge waste of money how they are doing all of this, ripping up old sidewalks, replanting trees and all that crap for no real good reason.

(But the new paved roads are a lot smoother haha. Oh and the raised bike lane is STUPID)

no left turns southbound is also a fail :(

i thought the 1/2 lane was hilariously stupid when i first ran into it. exact thought at the moment "wtf, lol" followed by a long sigh. makes me wonder how many accidents this has caused. c-lai's drive bad enough, how in the hell did they manage with 1.5 lanes to drive in?!

But I live in Richmond...:(
