Memphis Blues is great, Not only is it a Locally owned restaurant (Templeton Alumni), it also has pretty decent prices. If you want all you can eat ribs, just head to Montana's. They have okay Ribs for all your heart clogging goodness Remember kids, Meat = Muscle! |

memphis blues is meh. i don't like it. been there twice (both times broadway location) and it hasn't been good. Went to montana's last week for the first time. that is WAAAY better. went for their AYCE ribs. mmmm apple butter sauce!!
i'd kill to try some of the ribs diners, drive ins and dives showcases ... those slow cooked ribs look SOOO GOOD is some of those southern places!

I mentioned this in early in the thread but has anybody gone to Dix BBQ on Beatty just off Pacific? My friends and I went there back in 2006 and they had some pretty delicious ribs on the menu. I haven't gone back since. Just figured I post this up in case people still keep thinking Memphis Blues is some kind of institution for ribs in Vancouver.

Not all of the food at Memphis is good, but their ribs are. Having a platter kind of sucks

+1 for Dem Bones. Even though not open anymore I think they deserve a mention. Used to work there way back when and it was hit or miss. But when it was hit the baby back ribs were damn good.
Best right now is Memphis.
