Do you know anyone who doesn't use FaceBook?
 

Besides Google, Youtube and Revscene we all know how popular Facebook has become these days. It literally rules everyone's lives who use the internet, more or less. I haven't met anyone who actively uses the internet on a regular basis that doesn't have or use Facebook, until now.
One of my friends cousins apparently does not have Facebook nor intends to sign up for an account. Talk about a first wowzers. I thought everyone had a Facebook account (well almost everyone)

Just curious what you think about this. Do you think someone who does not use Facebook is out of tune or a harsher way to put it " a loser with no little to no friends?"

I actually know a lot of "normal" people who aren't on facebook for various reasons like their job, relationship and people who want to stay private and not post personal information on the internet.

lots of my friends refuse to use facebook, they dont want everyone knowing their every move and creeping on photos.

i delete my account all the time, bring it back for a few weeks, then delete it again for a few weeks.

i have an account on facebook, but it's only to keep in touch with friends and family overseas that i used to be unable to keep in touch with on a regular basis before. otherwise i have little use for it. like someone else said, my personal life is personal, and like stewie said i don't really care to know every little detail of other people's lives... all my personal info listed is bogus and i used a pic of my co-workers dog for the personal profile pic.

just a few people from work, but lots of people I know but prefer not to add on fb... I'd say 100% of my phonebook is on facebook

very few, and the reason they dont use it because of the drama and stalkers

i know a girl age 24, never use msn, facebook, and all other craps..

all she does is go online and surf.. but she does use phone and BBM very often.. lol

Just to think, a few years ago no one was using the internet to socially network in such a scale as facebook. Now everyone has it! Now the real question is... Who is the individual most disadvantaged? Those who use facebook or those who do not?

No facebook for me. My wife has an account though, sometimes I catch a glimpse of some of the stupid shit people post on it.

I also have a lot of friends that do not use facebook due to privacy issues... including some that delete it right after they used it for a day

I refuse to use facebook, its funny i grew up using icq, msn, even was on hi5 but then i gave up. It was all about myspace for a bit, now its face book and twitter...bleh, too much wasting time.

Lots of people don't use facebook, there's tons of creepers and stalkers on it. Plus who needs the world to know what's going on every 2 minutes of their lives? *cough* Twitter whores *cough*

everytime i meet somebody they immediately ask if i have fb...i tell them no and they give me this wtf look right away

almost everyone i know who has it only uses it to stalk ppl and drool on their photos all day..waste of time in my opinion

i know a handful of people that doesn't and they see no reason to, their social life and real life is satisfying enough that they don' need to spam pictures of their drunken clubbing events, poke others in the armpit and announce to the world their secrets by publishing it on another friend's wall

lol. I don't use it either. I can barely find time after work to even surf the internet let alone spending time on FB. I don't need to talk to people I don't hang out with.

I did at one time create a fake account to view other profiles, but not really useful anymore with everyone going private lol!

haha i was having a class debate about this earlier this week..
the general populous was pretty 50/50 on it

some people hated it and were very bitter about it

while others couldn't live without it..

it had both it's pros and it's cons

PRO

-good way to keep in touch with friends
-good way to network
-good way to keep track of events
-good way to kill time

CON

-once your pictures are uploaded onto facebook they become facebook property
-your private life is broadcasted. So co-workers and employers use it to dig up information about potential employees ( so if they see you standing on top of a bar shirtless dancing around half naked doing coke off someones ass, it might show a lack in judgment and poor character on your part. Yes there are privacy features and facebook is getting better at making it more secure)

there's really a lot more but i ain't going to waste n e more time on this. technology is a fast paced industry so weather you like it or not, it's going to be here.. and so are the people that use it.

facebook has ruined people's reationship.....
