Shanghai is probably the only urban center I would wanna visit in China

shanghainese are snobbish little people
similar traits to their cousins in hong kong but more severe

the tier 2 cities have the fastest growth, mostly the northern ports

Ive stayed in the VIP suites at the Ritz (50th floor from what I recall), At night all you can see is blurry lights through the smog. Not really much of a view, haha.

Dubai's expansion is garbage. It is all fake, like a Middle Eastern Disneyland. And now because of the global economic crisis, all the projects they were planning/starting have been for the most part scrapped.
