Lightbulb Las Vegas Premium Outlets questions

So im going to Las Vegas this winter and i was thinking is it worth checking out, the LV Prem. Outlet? I know they sell 7formankind, TRs, Ed Hardy, AX, FCUK but was wondering do i save a whole lot going there or is it better online at say ssense.com? TIA

It all depends when you go, the answer to that question won't be revealed until you do actually go. Just recently me and my gf went to Vegas 3 times in a 8 month span. January, May, and July. In May and July it was ok, decent sales on top of good prices but selection was just average. When we went in January though it was out of control. I kid you not over 80% of the stores had 50% off or more on like almost everything. On top of that selection was amazing. Needless to say we bought a shit load of stuff and it was good times.

In the end just go, it isn't that far away from the strip and it will only waste a couple few hours depending on how you shop. If it turns out it wasn't great then sure you waste $30-$40 or so in taxi fees (there and back) and a couple few hours of your time.

It's not that far out about a 10 minute taxi ride ($15-$20 per ride). Renting a car really depends on you. Are you mainly just gonna be on the strip? Do you plan to go off the strip a lot? Even if you do stay on the strip it will be worth it to rent if your one of those people who constantly throw money away taxiing up and down the strip. Once or twice is no biggy but I know some people who do it numerous times a day and although each time is only like $10-$15 it really adds up quickly. Last time I went my sister and her bf happened to be there and they rented a car. Drove us around all the time and parked valet in front of the casino entrance where there was no set price so you just give the whatever.

it's better to just take the taxi than renting a car or taking the bus. it's about $15 (and if you split the costs between people it's like the cost of the bus anyways).

just went there last week and found a lot of good deals--especially juicy. trues was kind of a bust though--the sales were on the normal/original designs and if you want the more updated ones..it'so nly like $7 difference. not worth it imo.

The True Religion Outlet in Las Vegas is amazing, most of the prices range from 100-250. Which saves you about 100-200$ from most stores down here

They do have the "Seiko The Company Store" there.

Here's a list of the stores located at the Vegas location.

^ if you like enough of the brands at the outlet, im sure it'll be more than enough to accomodate all your shopping needs.

aside from the great prices at the premium outlet, theres only all the highclass stores with overpriced goods in the fancy shmancy hotels on the strip

Now this is a personal opinion so take it for what it's worth. IMO these are the only places you need to go.

Premium Outlet
Fashion Mall (Regular Mall with regular prices but it's the biggest mall there)
Caesars Forum (If you want some higher end shiet)
Bellagio which is beside Caesars also has high end stores too but the shopping section isn't nearly as big as Caesars.

Otherwise you should be covered. Planet Hollywood has a mall but it's nothing special and most of the stores suck although they have Urban Outfitters if you like that store.

^^^Agreed except I actually enjoyed getting wasted while shopping the Miracle Mile.

Also about the cab thing, if you're mostly on the strip, Freemont and outlets, just take a cab. Take some time to plan your trip and it won't be an issue. Of course if your trip includes visiting Red Rock, Grand Canyon, Hoover and other of-strip places, then rent a car.

I think Bender Unit is talking about the outlet heading towards the airport - that one sucks - it's like the Kingsgate Mall of outlets.

Yea it's a time killer. Last time I was wasted walking the Miracle Mile and even won $200 at the slot machine by the entrance next to Sephora.

Thanks All.

I got my Taxi/Shuttle Bus answer from other thread, too.
Thanks

because I'm going to rent a car to Grand Canyon. So I'm planning where else I should visit outside of The Strip while I could need to take bus & taxi. (family activities)

There's also the Primm outlet, which is a 45 minute shuttle bus ride from the strip. It's just an indoor outlet with all the usual stores. Gap, american eagle, hollister, burberry, banana republic, michael kors...on and on. Not as many stores as premium outlet, but one store I really liked was Neiman Markus Last Call. Basically like a nordstrom rack.

Shuttle busses leave miracle miles, mgm and fashion mall regularly in the afternoon, for only 15 dollars round trip. There are coupons too that you can find in the various coupon books from taxis and whatnot, so you can save money. I found a buy one get one free so only paid 15 for two people!

Here's the full list of stores: http://www.fashionoutletlasvegas.com...tory_alpha.asp

Primm is pretty far out (like out near the CA border if I remember).

There's another outlet way on the south end of the strip (past the airport)

Las Vegas Outlet Center.
