front car windows(non-tinted) screeching noise
This issue has been happening since 1 month after I got the car, so this problem has been around for almost 2 years.
Here is the problem:
When I electronically roll down or up either one of the front windows, there is this screeching noise. Actually, sometimes it's there and sometimes it isn't.
This random issue happens throughout the year, so I doubt it's the temperature affecting the glass density. Water doesn't play a role in the screeching noise either since the noise is there even during rainy days.
Here is my maintenance on the glass:
Besides washing the glass with liquid car soap while washing the rest of the car, I don't do any actual maintenance on the glass.
I was my car once before winter, once after winter, and many times during summer when I'm not as busy from school.
Here are my questions:
What's causing the screeching noise that happens sometimes?
Here are some theories:
Perhaps winter dirt got stuck in the door?
Maybe car soap is also messing things up?
Could something (the black rubber stripes) need to be replaced?
Defective electronic window motor?
Etc.
