The Greatest Human Is Dead

But Borlaug – along with other researchers who create the Green Revolution in food production – saved between two hundred million people and one billion people, depending on how you do the math.
It's amazing how the one guy who has had probably the greatest positive impact on human life was barely known by the majority of the world.

I know it's a direct quote from the article, but you should change the "But Borlaug" part to his actual name, Norman Borlaug.

I originally thought his name was actually But Borlaug. lol

Admittedly, I did not know about this person, until today, but the article was an informative eulogy.

RIP to a great human, indeed.

The Green Revolution was a failure though, flawed from the start

it only offered a temporary fix and resulted in a far worse situation due to soil pollution, even leaving plots in fallow would be useless.
(so instead of having 1 box of food, they got 4 boxes for a short period of time, then 0 boxes)

but GJ to him for trying
