(It starts at $24,500 before the afformentioned options) Yes its got a rubbish badge and its not built with very much care. But what car that offers even a modicate of performance is? Its not a track car but for daily driving the SRT-4 looks like great value for money. Going to take one for a spin. Same money you get a mid-load mazda3, base GTI, lancer GTS, base Civic Si. Check it out. |
Uhm, okay? :lol Anyway, I had one for a couple days. I actually had loads of fun in it. Pretty quick car for what it is. It even kept up with a buddy's (admittedly fairly untuned) 350whp turbo V6... The only thing I hated about it was the cheap man's "LSD." Even considered buying one over the summer. |
I thought the caliber version of the srt-4 was out for quite some time now? anyways i would rather own the original skittle based on the neon.. http://image.modified.com/f/editors/...front_view.jpg |
They stopped making it due to poor sales perhaps? I forgot was it MotorTrend or C&D did a comparsion test between all the compact sports hatch/sedan on the market. This Dodge came in last, even after the VTEC Si :) Found it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvouOW785JE |
still being made, just like the regular caliber Quote:

holy crap you must be baller  |
An older SRT4 would be a better bet if you're looking for a winter beater. Similar power, much better handling, a Quaife LSD (04+) from the factory, and cheaper to boot. |
they have a stroked out version of the 4b11T, known as the 4b12T...which is pretty much a stroked out evo engine ;) Good bang for buck for straight line performance. |

wih mopar stage upgrades from the dealer the car could reliably make 300hp with aftermarket upgrades like the 50 trim from agp It's not uncommon to see 400whp with pump gas http://www.agpturbo.com/home.php?cat=248 |
Good for going straight and that's about it. Overpriced too. Cobalt SS >>>> Caliber SRT-4 and it costs less. |
So, i got a loner car from MB Repair yesterday... and they gave me this thing to drive... Aside from the powerplant, this car is a pile of crap. So much plastic, and so much vibration driving it around..the blind spots are enormous. I dont like. shes fast going straight...thats about it. |
^ +1 but you lose the practicality, neways I test drove an SRT-4 and at highway speeds didn't feel very planted, maybe the wheels were misaligned or something during my test drive  But I like the styling of the SRT-4 over the cobalt but as a drivers car it's no comparison |
i guess old SRT 4 > new SRT 4? |

^why would they ask that guy to do the narration on the video >.< It was so annoying! Maybe in the end the caliber comes out last |
