Wow this post is strange. All the spelling is correct but the sentences and words are all jumbled up so it is almost unreadable. It is like it was translated with Google translator or something.

str6nger 07-26-2011 10:59 AM

just asking for someone's advice and opinions

2004 honda accord standard transmission is so much easier than 2011 subaru 2011 standard, why, and does it have anythin to do with the gear boxes being in different locations, thats all i'm asking??????

str6nger 08-03-2011 01:43 PM

WHY no meet ups?

back like couple years ago when it snowed went with bud no longer here but in his subaru not even really modded spin smoking donuts in the Landsdown mall parkade. like all the suped good for nothings bowed downed and stopped their trys cuz its not only what you do to car also the skill of the driver it was so much fun every one that tried to out do his speed failed bad why we subarus not do anything out there like easy tell mitsubishis to go home!!!???

Spectre_Cdn 08-03-2011 01:48 PM

:seriously:
did you just translate from Chinese or some alien language?

Here's what you wrote, translated by Google:
回像幾年前,當下雪了與芽不再在這裡,但在他的斯巴魯改裝成旋轉甚至沒有真正吸煙甜甜圈在Landsdow n商場 parkade。像所有suped好的nothings鞠躬擊倒並停止其trys CUZ它不僅給你做什麼車也技能的驅動程序是很有趣每一個嘗試了做他的速度沒有壞,為什麼我們不能做任何事 情斯巴魯在那裡像易告訴三菱回家

str6nger 08-03-2011 02:07 PM

Honestly, I'd like to help you out, but to pinpoint what you are trying to say . . . I'm kinda stumped.

I'm guessing you want to know, why the Honda accord's gear box is so much smoother and easier to drive than the Subaru Impreza?

FN-2199 08-03-2011 02:58 PM

I'm going to go on a limb here and say that he's asking why his shifting sucks ass.

Quote:

Is shifting different with an AWD car vs. a FWD or RWD car? One has to visualize the power transfer in a car to get a better understanding. In a FWD or RWD car, if you shift or launch the car too aggressively, the excess power is transmitted to the tire(s), which will spin. Put another way, excess power is "burned off" through tire smoke. In an AWD car, if you shift or launch the car too aggressively, the excess usually isn't enough to overpower the tires' grip. In this situation, the excess power must be absorbed somewhere else in the drive train. Though some drive train shock is normal, in an overload situation, excess power is transmitted to the various driveline components, which can accelerate wear and tear.

Exactly!

you da first person understand what i am askin bout could it be that 2003honda accord's in the front where as my subaru impreza right under the shift knob in da center between the driver and passenger seat???????could it have anythin to do with the clutch disc material???????thanks for being the first person to understand my scream for help.
