Wait, what? They're tolling the Port Mann? What happened to the provincial government mandate stating that they can't toll a crossing if there's no reasonable alternative route? I would hardly call the Mission bridge or Putello a reasonable alternative if I wanted to go into Coquitlam.

Fuck me...

its pretty funny how fast they actually get shit done when they want to

the area from the port mann to 200th is pretty much ready to go for pouring etc. or will be very shortly

i agree with fliptuner. i tread any situation in volving traffic the same way. i pretend they cant see me.

I drive/walk expecting people NOT to stop, so when they run the yield sign or stop light. i will be ready.

Like I-5 near seattle. Add more lanes and either directions at different times of the day.

Actually I would guess that's more like a 401-style collector to eliminate lane changes over the bridge, as there are entrances and exits immediately on either side that the outside lanes would connect to. The main 3 lanes either direction would be express lanes for through traffic and the outside lanes would likely be both through as well as merging/exiting lanes.
