Sea water smell :(

Long story short, my mom took my car to steveston and bought some fresh sea urchin and shrimp, the plastic bag was poked open and some weird brown liquid leaked onto my trunk carpet

It really stinks and I tried febreeze and doesn't work, covers it temporarily and then next day comes back

Do I have to shampoo it now? :'(

BTW any recommendations on what to do with cracked paint near the bottom of the car? I'm thinking bondo + spray paint and then polish

I'll try steaming, I don't think it's stained because it's dark blue so you can't tell, I'll peek at the foam underneath and sea, maybe i'll steam in some febreeze lol

This better not be another "I need help with ______" and in the end, after everyone has given suggestions, you say "Oh, I'll live with it" thread
