Steroids enhances your performance to a level that one cannot have naturally.

Okay, let's think of it this way, if there was a surgery to help paraplegic's walk again and play sports, is that cheating?
Tiger got lasik to correct his vision and which technology today it's possible to get surgery to have better than perfect vision. It's like buying a car with 300hp as compared to 100hp, why do you need such a fast car when there is a speed limit, is that cheating?
I think the vision definately gives Tiger and edge, but I do not consider that cheating or anything similar to taking steroids.

i dont think sports athletes are banned from doing laser eye surgery, are they?? that would be a horrible rule
steroids is completely cheating and disrespecting the game, not even a fair comparison

tiger's laser eye surgery = having a basketball player installing springs in their knees so they can jump higher.
he is like installing binoculars into his eyeballs!
what about roger federer? isn't he getting paid a lot too?

what about roger federer? isn't he getting paid a lot too? | Jumping higher does not make you a better basketball player. Steroids are known to enhance an athletes performance beyond what a natural athlete can achieve. Tiger Woods better than average eye-sight IS NOT as a result of laser surgery. Laser surgery does not enhance someones vision, but merely restores ones' vision to it's original state.

The weaker car would never catch up unless it went past the speed limit.

His testosterone levels are obviously gonna be lower then lets say a 19 year old athlete. This means it takes longer for him to recover from a game and to keep up his strength. This means its nearly impossible to stay competitive against the younger athletes. Is it still cheating if he is taking drugs to bring his hormone levels up to a normal level?

However, once again, the key difference is "enhancement." Steroids enhances ones performance. The drug you're talking about "restores." Steroids gives an edge to an athletes performance, whereas the latter only levels the playing field.

I also thought Schumacher was a billionaire and I'm pretty sure I read he was?
I'm not a fan of Woods; actually I hate him, but good for him because he deserves it. He's taken the PGA and golf in general to the next level.

Andro (which is what McGwire is getting in shit for taking even though it was legal at the time) doesnt really boost your testosterone levels all that much. Someone in their 40's would most likely be a high normal level for a younger person. McGwire is also 46.

Dude, it's laser eye surgery. It only makes you "see" better, not hit the ball harder or further.
A baseball or basketball player could take the same surgery to see the baseball or hoop better and I doubt any athlete in the world would have any qualms with that.
