canucks jersey where would be the best place to get one? i found this site http://www.pacificcoastcresting.com/ "We only carry fully licensed NHL jerseys direct from Reebok. Each jersey comes with the original tags and NHL serial numbered hologram for authenticity. Available is sizes men's S, M, L, XL, XXL. Customization available with any name and number." its 99 for one and 159 for one with name and number... or should i get one at sportchek etc or gm place? |
Go to GM place Authentix and buy it there. If you can wait, wait until they have that Christmas sale. You can get a nice discount on it (~40-50% off) |
Sport check has a friends and family sale. 25% off regular priced items. |
If you're wanting a blank one I'd just go to Sportchek (as TRD604 mentioned) during the F&F Event or get it from Pacific Coast, they sell legit jerseys for a good price. However if you're looking for a name/number I'd go with Pacific Coast or The Canucks Team Store. I'd avoid big box stores like Sportchek, Champs, etc. because they get their crested jerseys direct from Reebok and they are inferior in quality. Pacific Coast does their own cresting and the Canucks Team Store contracts it out to one of their preferred cresting companies to get it done. The Reebok cresting is too thin and has excessively long name bars. If a name and number jersey is what you want, you can also try Game On Sports at Metrotown. Be aware that they have two separate prices for their name and number Reebok Premier jerseys. There's a cheaper one with the crappy Reebok factory cresting and a slightly more expensive one that they get another company to crest. They stock mostly the popular players with the Reebok crested ones but they can also send your jersey out to get done at the good place. |

eBay is fine only if you're familiar with what's fake and what's not. Some fakes are very obvious (wrong colors, fonts, shape) and there are some that most people can't tell they're fake (Orca jerseys with Japan Game OnE patches) |
i buy regular jerseys from ebay and get them customized locally at the hockey shop. |
Authentix during winter holidays is good. They have scratch and save cards. I got a 60% off one and got my Captain Linden jersey =] |
The Team Store won't be having scratch and save or anything up to 60% off again ever. Wish I'd stocked up, I bought my authentic Linden last year for practically the same price as a regular price replica with name. |
any new places to grab a jersey? |
icejerseys had a really good sale last summer(2008). 50% off jerseys.i've been waiting for them to have another one. i split shipment with me friend and it ended up only being $110 each for a personalized replica. he got a luongo one, i got a eric staal one. http://icejerseys.com/item_details_simple.php?id=6109 |

^ +1 for Jayson. I've bought 3 jerseys from him, definitely real. The only difference is a VERY slight stitching difference, the one I bought from Authentix, the stitching seems to stands out just slightly more when looking at it up close, and thats nitpicking, other than that, its the exact same. I have his number as well if anyone needs. |
