well, if the plugs need replacing they need replacing. but if you find that doesn't first solve the problem, i'd do like ncrx recommended and swap the connectors for the o2's.
be sure to check the gap on the plugs before you throw them in

ok everything else has been done and its running better but you say this is a big problem so i'm going to do it as well as there is still a hesitation. You suggest replacing both of them over switching the connectors?

swap the connectors first, if that doesn't fix it, i'd just replace them both with a bosch universal heated 4 wire 02 sensor.
