	   | Best Car For $15,000?

I'm looking for advise here, I want to buy a used car, not looking to spend tons as I'd rather spend on other stuff.
I want speed and power mixed with good looks. Price range 15,000 - 18,000

I do not want a I4, minimum V6, or V8, and no older than 2003.

 I've come to the following:

 2005 Chrysler 300C
 2004-2007 Maxima
 Altima 3.5
 Magnum RT
Used 350Z or G35 (2003) from the states or here, although in that price range I'm a little leary on the quality.
 2005 Mustang GT

Do you guys have any better suggestions or warnings?

			why not I4? S2000, Itr, RSX-S
For 15K you wont get a good condition nor low kms 350z. Also the first yr of 350z has lots of problems. ECU,tranny, driveshaft, power window motor. Not all of them has the same problems, but lots | | | | | 10-09-2009, 07:00 PM | #9 | | My homepage has been set to RS

Insurance is an issue too, RSX is out of the question, as is S2000, I want a V6-V8 engine.

			^please don't!
Might not be what you're looking for but maybe a Pontiac G6 GT. You can almost get a new one for $15K considering that the Pontiac moniker won't be around.

A rule of thumb is expect to spend $1K to $2K in random repairs for any used car. Try to get as new and as low km as possible!

			Honda Accord Coupe V6
This model year:
Its actually not a bad car to own. Within the price range (or less), Fairly decent power, looks not too bad. Got a V6!
All your requirements met.

From the list, I'd go G35 or 350z.. but 15 grand wouldn't get you a very good one.Have you considered a TSX?

All your requirements met. | +1, but expect a pretty thirsty V6 for the performance/practicality you are getting, I was gonna say the TL too, but again quite bad on gas.
Out of your list, I'd definitely go for a mustang GT even though the new/current model is a much nicer car, the old one's not too bad. Don't even look at the V6 though, it's pure garbage.
To warn you, mercedes C-class is a big no no, in fact any newer mercedes will bite a huge chunk out of your bank account nowadays, and for a guy looking at 15k cars...
You might be able to find an E36 M3 for that price range, but those are quite old and pretty rare cars.
