I would have to suggest buying that unit locally for warranty purposes. 2 out of the 3 that I've worked with have had issues. They're great when they work, spectacular sound, small footprint large output.

I got mine from Soundworks. Works like a charm........ so far.

Excellent choice, thumper.

BTW, local is always best. Support local shops. Good prices, good service, and no hassles.



The birthsheet on my PDX-5 had it rated at 800+ watts RMS. If you have an Alpine deck with AiNet, even better.

i just bought the PDX-5 from soundworks thanks

unfortunately my birthsheet is not rated as high as yours

now i'm off to find an LOC...

They had two in stock at the time and I looked at both and took the one with the highest output. I love this amp. For price, you cannot go wrong.

just curious but how much does the pdx5 cost locally?


i haven't paid any attention to the car audio market for awhile now. what other small footprint amps do people recommend?

I think JL Audio has a new 5 channel that has gobs of power and pretty small chasis. But knowing JL pricing, they'll probably charge like $1500.

I think the main thing we need to know is what you are powering? What kind of car?
