2 years ago i was on the bus, back corner seat. the bus was relatively empty. there was this one guy with a sling over his right arm (broken arm i guess), he approached me when we got to nanaimo station and put a vicodin pill on the edge of a chair and told me to take it cause he said i looked like i was feeling "down". he got off the bus and i looked to my right at a girl on the bus and gave the wtf face. then we got off the bus.

Kind of off topic, but I've noticed something everytime we're at the theatres.
When guys sit down, they refuse to sit beside a stranger, even more anti it when it's another dude. They always leave a single empty seat between them and the next person. What ends up happening is that there are a few empty single seats in one row. Another couple then comes in and looks at the single seats and it is ALWAYS the girl who asks someone if they can move over to free up 2 seats side by side. The guy never has the balls to ask or something, just stand there at the stairs waiting while his gf does the asking. Reason???

You need a buffer space in theaters. That's one reason I go in the matinees cause less people and I can spread out.
And the girl asking things is cause they come across friendlier and better
chance to get a yes

Reason??? | If there are only single seats available that are not together and it's an action movie or a movie that requires some thinking, the guy won't ask someone else to move over because the guy rather sit away from his girlfriend so he won't get bothered with "I don't get this" "what does that mean" "what's going on" "how come the protagonist is doing that". The girl of course will do the asking or else they wont be sitting together
