Centerbore difference?

Hey everyone, My friend has a mkv gti and a w203 c class

the gti has a 57-ish centerbore
and the benz has a 66-ish

If he buys a benz wheel with same bolt pattern, should it fit fine on the gti?

Assuming the wheel/tire fits in the fenderwell, yes. He may also want to buy hubcentric rings.

centerbore = hub centric sizing.

thus, if all other measurements are right, you just need a set of hub centric rings.

hmm how much are they and where to pick em up?

my front wheels are about a mm bigger centerbore than my hub too, don't really feel any vibration from the wheels personally, but I can see that it'd be risky having your wheel just held on by 5 bolts

if anything, i find the hub rings are great for mounting the wheel onto the hub. though the lugs pretty much help make sure the wheel is dead center, its always better to have a hub ring.

a set of hub rings are about 30 bucks.

if its only 1mm, then go buy some aluminum tape and wrap ur hub a few times...works really well as it doesnt compress.

I found that Ebay had the cheapest price on hub rings. 1010tires.com lists them too.
