I saw the wierdest thing today, a newer Dodge Caliber that when it activated its turn signal the headlight would go off and when the signal was canceled the headlight came back on.
If is is bad enough that you need fog lights, then you will NOT want high beams on. Trust me, I spent 13 years driving in (a) fog on the east coast of Nfld.
I want to be able to disable the low-beams and DRLs (DRLs on my car are low-beams at half power) and have just the fog lamps on with the corner markers. Obviously I wouldn't want the fogs on with the high-beams if I am worried about back-scatter. I'm not one of these guys who thinks the more lights on at one time the better.
It's a great feature. 1) Makes the turn signal easier to see and 2) When the headlamp on that side of the car turns off, it draws attention to that corner of the car.
