I can see this being good for some mobiles, but like someone said above the normal version works great with iPhone. A switch would be nice.

check out the CBC.ca mobile version. that one is REALLY well done IMO.

I'll work on the style, it was originally intended for really small screens, like phones with browsers. Although I think it's better than the full version for iPhones and similar devices, it is not totally optimized for them.

Do images load on this? I haven't seen them load on this option yet.
I'd really like to push for the option with the choice of mobile edition and regular edition

Opera 9.5 on WM6 here, I just go to Menu -> Settings -> Advanced -> Identify as, and set it to Desktop Computer, and RS loads the regular version.

Edit: Oh yeah, and pics load just fine... once again, Telus unlimited data package FTW :D
