That one canon 1200mm lens goes for $100,000 used alone... you may want to re-think your $200,000 estimate

I don't see any 1200mm canon lenses? just a ton of 500mm and 800mm, one looks to have a 2X on it, but its not a 1200.

Yeah, that looks like a 800mm f5.6. Here's the one Canon had at the trade show this past weekend, mounted on a 50D. 24.6MP (6048x4032) file taken with the Sony A900, ISO 1600 with the Sony Carl Zeiss 24-70mm f2.8. Holy fuck that lens is sharp!



This is a 100% crop of the above - This what I meant all those times I wrote the Zeiss 24-70 is the sharpest one on the market as of now. Too bad the Sony bodies still lag behind canon & Nikon.

Oh yea thats right the 1200 has handles on it. The one on BH Photo is used for 120,000
