They will tow you, so I would pay it. BTW If you ever see a dude giving you a ticket, and they say its too late Ive already printed it. It's BS, they can cancel it on the spot. Their just being assholes, so treat them nice. They might cancel it for you. |
OP, why not work at Costco? They start at 10/hr.... |
yeah dude, you can get a lot of jobs out there that pay for more. i'm sure a lot of people on here can say they made more than min wage in their starting job. |

Have your cheapass employers buck up to buy you a commercial vehicle decal. Municipal Vehicle Licence - (Municipal Decals) The City of Vancouver under the Municipal Act, is a participant municipality, in the imposition and collection of fees and issuance of Municipal Vehicle Licences, a required decal by the Province of British Columbia. Any vehicle operating as a commercial vehicle under the Commercial Transport Act or a vehicle used for the collection or delivery, or both, of merchandise or other commodity in the ordinary course of business, is required to obtain a Municipal decal. To obtain a Municipal decal, the vehicle owner/operator must apply in person at the Licence Office with the current Vehicle ICBC Insurance papers. The vehicle must be insured for business use. After a decal has been issued, replacement or transfer decals can be purchased for a reduced rate, where proof of purchase is provided. If you are purchasing 6 or more municipal decals, you must complete the “Commercial Vehicle Fleet Form” below and submit it with current copies of Vehicle Registration for each vehicle in person or by fax at 604.871.6394. Please include a contact name and telephone number on the Commercial Vehicle Fleet form and you will be contacted when the decals are ready for pickup. The fee for a Municipal Decal ranges from $25 to $40, depending on the weight of the vehicle (GVW) which can be obtained from your Vehicle Registration (ICBC papers). The Municipal decal expires annually on December 31st and fees will not be pro-rated. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) Fee 0 - 2800 kgs 2801 kgs - 11800 kgs 11801 kgs - 20000 kgs 20001 kgs and over $25.00 $30.00 $35.00 $40.00 The fee for a replacement or transfer of a Municipal Decal is $6.25. To qualify for a replacement decal, you must bring in and return your previous decal to us and provide us with the ICBC Insurance papers for the new vehicle. The name(s) insured on the new vehicle must match the name(s) insured for the previous vehicle. I can't stand how the employers of entry level jobs take advantage of their employees like that. My work pays for all work related parking tickets. |
I had a friend who disputed the ticket, but pled guilty at court and reason being "he could not afford the tickets at the time". A $300 ticket turned into a $90 ticket. |
