Reminds me of one of my buddies who got a malaria shot before going to the Dominican. Turns out he got an extremely rare side effect and ended up in a psychiatric ward in Abbotsford for a month.

My mom actually had to go to the ER after her flu shot a few years ago. The doctors said it was a server allergic reaction. My grandfather, who was healthy, was given a flu shot by his doctor. Right after he got the shot he got very ill and started becoming weaker. I don't know if it was the shot that killed him but he basically died within a year after taking the shot.

i have had the flu shot several times
it's pretty much a psychological safety net since there are so many influenza strains out there and sometimes by the time these vaccine are out in the market the existing flu has already mutated many times..deeming it almost obsolete

like others said im required to have it since i working in the health care field.

I think the girl can sue the vaccine distributor for a lot of money cause i doubt this side effect was ever labelled and/or the doctor/nurse administering might get into some troubles too.

I can't believe some of you thinks that shes faking it....side effects aren't always acute/immediate. I feel sorry for her hope doctors can at least minimize her troubling tremors.

I've actually been getting the flu shot probably for at least 15 years now and in my 30 years, I've only had the flu maybe once or twice, and only been sick (cold, coughs, etc..) maybe a total of 5 times and that was all in my teen years.

i havent gotten the flu shot in the past few years, why? because every time i get the flu shot, i end up getting the flu as one of its effects.
