in this race the vette had more a slight advantage over the GT2 but damn that was some awesome driving and couple of cheap shots

Yeah this race has gathered a lot of internet experts opinions.. lol.. awesome racing in my opinion.. dirty or not dirty.. it was for position and the driving was unbelievable by jan and jorg both. The vette was definately faster but it was a race for position and the porsche was under no obligation to give up the position.. especailly after he was abused in sebring by the ferrari.. he wasn't going to let it happen again.

It's interesting to read the comments on rennlist and the corvette forums too (in which Jan himself has posted!)

http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...-corvette.html

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/auto...rgmeister.html

Now I'm off for another iRace at Laguna Seca... done 260 laps in the last 3 days!!!! Can't wait to go down there in my race car next year!!

It's not a Porsche GT2 guys. GT2 is the class. The car is a 997 GT3 of some sort.

Edit: I don't believe that Rich didn't bitch about this

Well, I could bitch about how the factory corvette teams have been nudging everyone around for the whole freakin' season and no one has said anything...

What I'm actually more bitter about is I just won that iRace, running the last 9 laps with a crumpled hood not being able to see fuck all.. and then for some fucked up reason the web service didn't record my win, even though I took the checker in game.
