Driver crashes car while cursing at cop.

Quote:
Don’t spit in the wind, tug on Superman’s cape or trash talk Const. Adam Spindor. A 23-year-old Coquitlam man learned that the hard way last weekend as he drove by and swore at Spindor. As he shouted expletives at the officer, he lost control of his car, driving over a curb and crashing into a sign and a parked car. According to Spindor, the man’s demeanor changed and he became polite when confronted face-to-face by the NWPS member. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. Sunday morning while the officer was stationed outside a Downtown pub during closing hour.

The driver was issued a 24-hour roadside suspension after taking a breathalyzer test and his vehicle was towed. He is also being charged with not driving with due care and attention.

More than likely the driver also later faced the wrath of the actual owner of the newer model Honda Accord, his older brother

i thought it was the accident that I witness today on cambie and broadway.

Anways, I'm too lazy to make another thread, and sorry for thread jacking.

My buddy and I saw a maniac driver tongiht in a raised truck with big tires that ran 2 red lights. IT almost hit a pedestrian while swerving a right turn onto broadway into moving traffic where he hit a nissan murano and fled the scene.

the truck was not being chased by anyone at all, he was just driving like he owned the road and didnt give a shit that the lights were all red.
I was shocked to witness this outrage.

Cambie and broadway was blocked off with like 5 cop cars when I came back after 30 mins.
there were alot of witness at the time as it was like 10 pm, but nobody chased after the truck.

It looked like something that will happen in the states only. I was proved wrong today.
