However, there needs to be some sort of rehabilitation for these people, at least an option. Posted via RS Mobile | agreed - there needs to be some sort of rehabilitation program for these people, but there's no way to get the message to these people. these people are practically ghosts - no id, no address, show up whenever and wherever they feel like it. the safe injection site is also a place that they can get help. it's the only place that you KNOW they'll show up so that's where there's supposed to be pamphlets and posters of how they can get help, if they want it.
besides that, it provides safe needles for them so there are less disease infected needles on the streets. and should they od, there's someone there to try and save them. imo, it's better than a bunch of dead rotting bodies all around the dtes. |
