Lol on star works! It's better to be safe then sorry, I guess. Posted via RS Mobile |
IIRC, I read somewhere that the brakes for one of those monster Caddilacs (It might of been the new CTS-V) are so powerful that if you do an emergency stop from 100mph-0, it stops so quickly that Onstar calls you because the deceleration is as fast that Onstar thinks it's a car accident. |
the CTS-V is such a beautiful car, wouldnt mind getting my hands on one |

Definitely better safe than sorry... but if you're constantly at the track that must be annoying as shit hahah |

one reason to not want on - star. if they can detect and monitor your vehicle systems, put shit in your navigation, and unlock your doors for you, its sure as FUCK they can hand over any information the police ask for when you get in an accident. I'm sure they log every time you speed excessively, accelerate aggresively, brake hard, and pull lateral G's maybe street racing or road racing. oh yeah, and GPS ur exact co-ordinates to emergency personel another way icbc and the police are watching you. |
the car only contacts them is the sensors detect airbag deployment, and they only access the car when you call them to get the doors unlocked. I don't think they can follow you around watching your every move with it. |

well, a sibling to big brother. the process of scanning your ID to enter a bar is another way big brother is watching you as well. Considering the fact that police and icbc can get access to their database through courts to find out when you get in an accident sober as a judge, if you were drinking the night before, also your clubbing habits if you are a 'deadbeat dad' or the reverse. |
