The thing is...how big will the turn outs be...like the summer meet? Or more like the regulars who are willing to meet new people and hangout.

the issue with me is I don't go camping where there's washrooms or where you have to pay!!

RS camping meet would be awesome. If it was planned, it would be a great turnout, somewhere in the okanagen would be ideal.
RS seattle meet would be sweet, or anywhere in the states, I just like to fuck with the border guards cuz they never beleive I own my car cuz I look 17.
RS water slide meet is my favorite option cuz I really really want to see miss crayon in a bikini, as long as lazybum doesnt come, I'm now offended by muffintops.

Great thread idea SG, I hope 2010 brings something more than the already amazing spring and summer meets.

I say a nice Gumball/Cruise type of thing down to kelowna or the states (Maybe Vancouver Island) would be nice.

Anyway, someone teach me how to play the Triangle. Oh and one more thing I know how to play the recorder and the alto sax.

Spring Meet at Spanish Banks was the best location.

richmond is the center though, it's the middle for everyone. from the west siders, to east, to burnaby, and well who cares about coq and whatever is out further :p

camping would be cool. everyone likes burning shit up. could get kinda crazy.

also thought about house boating during the summer at shushwap sp? we can all be on the news for sinking another boat =P haha

The Gumball idea will never work.
People are going to start racing to and from places, and if shit happens, guess who's fault it is?

Not the people who drop in. You might have a "name" to hold up to on RS, but what about the lurkers who will just drop in just to do something stupid? It won't ever work.

1/8th Mile 1/4 Mile wont work. Like SG said, it's politics. Search up the old threads on the 1/8th Mile drags and you'll get your answer. I was there for the first and only one (other than the practice one), and if you guys missed out, too bad. It was an awesome event that I'll always remember.

If we do have a cruise event kinda thing,it would only work if it were a pre-meet to the actual Summer/Spring meet. Just like the Cruises back in the day pre 2005. We had Police escort, and everything went great.

I think we should have Night Time Meets. I'm sure some sponsor shops or something would be willing to host the event. Kinda like a Night time BBQ/Show N Shine. We would need a sizeable lot though. At least enough for 20 cars, easy to find, and a place with good lighting. Maybe we could even have Night Time mets at Spanish Banks or somewhere else out in the open. The Grandview HWY Canadian Tire has a HUGE lot, and I know for sure that it can fit well over 50+ cars just downstairs alone. We could go upstairs and grab some food at the Starbucks or BP too ;) Or go Next Door to the new WalMart. That lot is also huge

Or, we could just meet behind Minam Racing lol

If we're doing RS Xmas Band, I get dibs on cowbell :P
